Are we still alive?

It is a dificult society that in wich we live in. Borthers fight brothers, friends become foes. But what is really alarming is religion, people die for such moronic causes, fighting for a "god" come on people. The lack of pride in being human is lost at the very moment that one starts to pray. Some pray for fear others for luck, and some for others. But very few are left being human, being alone, knowing themselves. Life has so much to bring, so much to remember, and some just pray. Others become obseced with work, but in the end humanity is stuck. People try to breack free, but they can't the endless cycle of life goes on. Leaving others to start again. Some age, some die young, some race, but is the humankind still up to the challenge? The challenge of being alive, the challenge of searching inside. The challenge of being freed uppon the oppresion of society, religion and government. Are we men still alive? I ask you.

I can't even tell if I am alive, for all that I do is record hummanity or atleast I give it a shot.

Two days photographing Antigua.

I just got my first true digital slr cámera on saturday. So as any kid crazed about photography I decided to take a trip to the central park of my town Antigua Guatemala. There I encountered very amusing subjects and some that were not. I learned that photographing people can be a dangerous thing, for a lady sellign "Nuestro Diario" covered the scene I was supposed to photograph, then I saw in her eyes fear or something similar, a scar crossed her face. Otherwise of that unusual incident my photographic journey unvealed some interesting traits of my fellow townspeope and tourists.
